| Mt. St. Helens is one of the most recognizable mountains in Washington State. It was the fifth highest peak in the state unit 1980 when a volcanic explosion blew off the top leaving a crater. The pictures above are taken near the Lewis & Clark Bridge, west of Long View from the Oregon side of the Columbia River. |
